Recipe 74: Dark Green Smoothie

First off: I am sorry I haven't been blogging very actively lately. I am working hard to change some things about Veggies & Vanilla. These changes will be rather big, so I'm very busy figuring things out and arranging the new set-up. Be patient with me please!
Now let's get to it: a super nutritious, dark green smoothie. It contains at least two or three servings of fruit, and on top of that also two servings of vegetables. I drank all of this for breakfast (about 3 cups of smoothie), but you can always share with your loved ones if you want to. I drank this in bed before hitting the gym this morning, and it felt amazing. It tastes nice because of the fruit, but it's also an amazing way to feed and rinse your body. Definitely recommended!

Ingredients
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Almond milk, unsweetened - 1/2 cup
  • Kale - 1 cup
  • Spinach - 2 cups
  • Banana, frozen and sliced - 1 piece
  • Pineapple chunks, frozen - 1/2 cup
  • Berries - 1/3 cup

Instructions
  1. Just blend it up and enjoy!
It's best to drink first thing in the morning, but honestly you can have it whenever you want to. Enjoy!
